Mark Snell-Cook was born in Alabama and raised in North Carolina and Florida. I have a BA in Music from Rollins College.
A veteran of the US Navy. A thirty-one-year employee of the United States Postal Service in Norfolk, Virginia. Retired in 2019 and still active in the Local and State APWU.
In the Civic arena, I have been an officer of elections in Norfolk since 2004 and have been a Chief Officer of Elections since 2010.
I have been married to my husband, Dr. Brett Cook-Snell, since 2013. We reside in Virginia Beach with two Pembroke Welsh Corgi siblings, Alexander Jack and Atari.
